Trullo Grano di Puglia

Welcome!

A few years ago, I fell in love with Puglia. From that dream, this trullo was born – a traditional stone house that I restored and furnished with great care. Simple, authentic, and built with the wish to create a place where you feel at home from the very first moment.

Today I get to welcome guests from all over the world here. People who don't just want a holiday, but who want to discover the special way of life that Puglia offers. When the first coffee on the terrace tastes especially good in the morning, the scent of olive trees is in the air, and everything feels a little slower, that's when I know why I created this place.

I wish you a wonderful time and many unforgettable moments.

Welcome to Trullo Grano di Puglia!

Good to know

Controra Many small shops close in the early afternoon, usually from about 1 to 4 or 5 pm. In the evening they often reopen and then stay open late.
Meal times Lunch is usually served between about 12:30 and 2:30 pm. Dinner is eaten late here: many restaurants start their evening service around 7 to 7:30 pm, and it often only gets busy from 8 pm.
Drinking water Please do not drink the tap water. The trullo is supplied from its own well, and the water quality can vary. For drinking and cooking, please use bottled water.
Pharmacy At night, on Sundays and on public holidays there is always a “farmacia di turno” (duty pharmacy). Every pharmacy posts which one is currently on duty.
Beach flags Green means swimming is fine, yellow caution, red no swimming. Please take them seriously. Free beaches don't always have flag monitoring.
Tipping Not expected. Service is often already included. If you're happy, simply round up. In finer restaurants, around 5 to 10 percent is appropriate.
